what's this single burner / double burner you guys speak of? It's supposed to be like 20 in chicago tomorrow with high winds and I want to enjoy a few sticks while watching the bears beat up on the lions. My crappy electric heater just doesn't do it anymore.

I'd stay away from kerosene......too much carbon monoxide......propane burns much cleaner......like a gas stove in your house.......I burn a Mr Heater single burner in my possum van........keeps toasty warm and I can surf cigarbid on my laptop.......a little reneck I know.....wife thinks I'm nuts but the house doesn't smell

Well I picked up the Mr. Heater 40,000-80,000 BTU. It's an upright Galvanized metal cylinder that has holes. Its burner is awesome! Heated my garage no problem. Got about 10 hrs. on a 20lb. cylinder. I love it!

I've got a kerosene heater that works real well... trouble I have is finding a place that sells kerosene in bulk.. it's too expensive to buy a gallon a time at the hardware store...

FGM, I originally bought the one you have. It didn't give enough heat for me. I picked up this one and it gives off a ton of heat !

we use a kerosen heater in our club house, but we found out the hard way when we first started it, we used k-1 kerosen the smell was horrific, we now use klean burn kerosen can buy it at the home depot no smell unit you shut the heater off, but it works great 1 gallon will last all night

Every now and then I think of getting a portable heater too. I mean, sheesh, how’s a guy supposed to smoke out in an open garage when the temps dip below 70?!?! 🥶
