I passed.....however I did flip over to PMSNBC and watch some of the post-speech commentary.They advertise as a NEWS organization......but when I see a bunch of their pundits wiping the jizz off their leg I have to wonder.In contrast I flipped over there after Wednesday nites GOP debate......absolutely zero news reporting.One pundit after the other saying _ _ _ _ _ (insert any one of the candidates here)he/she was an absolute moron.Yep that proves it.....they're definately reporting only the news and in no way,shape or form are they bias in their reporting.

Here's what I don't like about Presidental speeches (mind you, it isn't a mind blowing revelation). I dislike when the Presidental speaks a paragraph and is interrupted by applause. I mean, can't people just wait until the end to clap? Lord....

That there is the reason I passed on watching it. That plus the partisan smug over the left shoulder. Can't take it anymore. Figure I'd just read it in a whole lot less time.

I am just so fed up with policticos. The illinois governor has fear mongered the public once again by threatening the infirm and the elderly-he claims he will have to shut down a bunch of facilities because the state did not budget enough money to keep them running.

Hey you stupid s*^t, cut the waste, cut from every department instead of trying to get the press to make the public feel bad so you can raise taxes. Everytime they want to raise taxes they drag out the gimps, the insane and the elderly to help push their agendas.

Thats just low and it's a tired ploy that they keep bringing out.

And unfortunately, that ploy invariably works from the federal level all the way down to the local township commissioners. We're gonna have to start laying off police, firemen, soldiers won't get paid, Social Security checks will be delayed, parks will close, all that scary stuff. Never a word is mentioned about truly trimming the astronomical number of tax dollars wasted. As long as folks keep buying into the same scare tactic, the oligarchs will keep trotting it out every time they want to extort more tax money from us.
