I picked up this used china cabinet from craigslist for $50. I cleaned it down from top to bottom, added four new magnetic latches for the bottom drawers, new door handles and light bulbs. (I used CFL bulbs to reduce the amount of heat. I will probably only turn them on when company comes by) I sealed up any gaps with waterproof vinyl foam tape. It has a few boxes of baking soda in there to remove the smell of old people.

I will start seasoning it tomorrow to see if it holds humidity.

Cabinets that were not originally intended as humidors can warp some around the doors over time once the RH is up to 65-70 range.

I added six magnet closures to keep mine sealed.
