Did you try the original Obsidian toro from 2006? Awesome smoke. If your a maduro fan. The later torpedo release was crap. I haven't had the new Obsidian blend but I am sure it doesn't touch the original.

The reason the original obsidian became my all time favorite smoke years ago is because of the deep cocoa/espresso maduro flavors but what really sends it over the top, if your lucky, you will get one that has a burnt cherry taste in the middle third. I have never had another cigar with that flavor. It is flippin awesome. But not every one has that flavor in it. Not sure why. But when you get one, its heaven. It is the perfect maduro.
