Yes Chris,
I also wouldn't be on here braging that I paid $6 a piece for MOWs, even if they where the LE Perfectos. AJ must be laughing all the way to the bank. We take the same tobacco, roll it in a perfecto shape, slap an LE label on it, and folks will line up all day to pay triple.

Tiger & others -
Mayhap u should reread my post. I didn't bash customer service. At all. Ever.

I bashed shipping, mildly, and posed a question to my fellow customers: "what do you think will happen?"

Big boy pants? Wrong fork in the road? What are you talking about? Public accountability is vital to effective service. By having a public channel where clients/consumers can ask things like, 'what do you think they'll do?' we are enabled; as consumers, as clients, towards better service.

I get that some of you really dig on jumping into forums and throwing emotional weight around, looking for reasons to get mad, to condemn - whatever - but I really don't.

I created this thread to create public accountability for a consumer issue - shared with my fellow consumers. Real-time as it were. I didn't accuse anyone of anything (except shipping, who did screw up), and I simply posed a question.

And here's the great thing - it worked well. Never mind your anger or whatnot, that's irrelevant: because everyone in this thread got to see that CB service handled this very well. They got to see that THEY are safe if something like this happens to them, that as clients they can trust CB service to rectify a shipping error of pretty large proportions (which is how I see five missing boxes).

That's the benefit of a thread like this. It ensures accountability through consumer insight/education.

The only cost is dealing with petty anger and people who like to argue, to condemn, to jump to conclusions. The silliness above in other words.

I didn't take a wrong fork. And I never bashed service either. Go be angry somewhere else 🙂 this thread did what was intended and service did a great job. I'll not be checking back unless there's more issues with the service.

Cheers folks - D

Well, hopefully there will be no more service issues for you, I think we will be fine!

@deepwhatever - ps.:
It was the averaged cost for the armadas I was glad of. I wanted a few and couldn't find them anywhere under 15 or so. Mayhap you have a way to get them cheaper - I don't. So, 6bucks a stick for those sounded great to me - the cost for the regs (norm, virtue, ruination) being part and parcel to the package.

Anyways - I wasn't bragging. Was just happy with what I saw as a deal. Still am.

Oh - and I'm not 'Chris.' For what that's worth. Though I am new to this forum - not really my usual thing. Anyways - I had an issue I wanted to share with my fellow customers, figured that was a large part of why a forum like this would exist. If everyone very much disagrees with that, so be it. Just wish all would actually read posts instead of inventing things and making false accusations: service did a great job and I never said otherwise. What happened was I was curious what my peers thought would role out of it.

C'est la vie. It was fun. adios

I really don't pay attention to them because they always go the same way. Some people handle things differently, WGAF
Bottom line it was taken care of. I also don't see where C222 did anything but pose a question. Maybe he should of handled it in private but I see no harm. As it being his first post, well maybe he is not the kind of person who reads the forums and didn't really know what to expect. If I had an order that was shorted that much I might be a bit tweaked myself.

It is also accountability of a consumer to follow proper resolution procedures before jumping out to other avenues. This is a Cigar Discussion Thread, not a bitch and moan thread... and about shipping/packaging? If they would have got the right items, the box would have been bigger. They used that box for size of the shipment, so I dont even see anything about a packaging issue.

Dont blame others for improperly handling the situation when you yourself are also liable.

****** in a box? You seem a bit fixated boyo. 'HOMO,' '****** in a box,' and cigars? These are your interests?

That bears some thought.

Tiger - don't punish other people just because you have a hard time accepting yourself. For some, a cigar is a cigar, pure and simple. For others it's a bit more... phallic. I'm not one of those guys so I can't really help you but just remember - it's OKAY.

When your ****** finally shows up - in a box or in your pants - remember that its your ******; you can put it where you want to. Even if we do all fond that disgusting.
