For home I use a Blazer Spitfire, usable for creme brule and welding as well. For travel I have a colibri quantum trifecta that was a gift, great triple flame and holds a lot of gas. Still have a can an a half of lava 5x refined butane left, the butane quality is more important than the lighter IMO.

+1 On the Ronson Jetlite , I've got about 10 to 15 various Colibri, Vector, and 1 or 2 Xicar that after the first couple if fills went to chit (even after bleeding them several times)
Jamie (ZRX) sent me the Ronson in our trade and I love it.

For a cheapie, I recommend the Madelaine single-torch. It's a push-button style, like the S.T. Dupont except it's on the front instead of the side. I've been using it for 3 years now, and it works great. No idea how much it cost because Tuck gave it to me (thanks again, bro!), but he said it was cheap, so probably sub-$20.

I've never used a Ronson Jetlite, but obviously there is a lot of love for those.

As far as pricy ones, I have a Xikar triple torch that I got here which I love, and an S.T. Dupont Mini that is really awesome--it's tiny, which has both pros and cons (perfect pocket/short travel lighter).

I typically light my cigars with the triple torch then use the single for touch-ups (i'm stupid about burn, so I touch up pretty often).

I use a Ronson if outdoors ..... Otherwise a Bic seems to work just fine .

Bernzomatic ($14) self lighting on the back deck...haven't had to change the bottle in two years!

Ronson JetLite in the pocket/car.

I've had it with expensive lighters. They all seem fragile!

If the lighter cost more than a nice cigar, you wasted your money!

Whoever had that clear plastic hand grenade lighter at the fishnherf knew what he was talking about (bill?). I picked up a similar $2 lighter and it works better than anything short of a tabletop.

Forget about all that has been said above........Xikar Ecllipse II is theee best lighter ever....its triple flame!

I light my Padilla 1932's just fine with it!

Ronson Jetlite - inexpensive and works great. It has a nice single-flame jet that is not too intense.

I've got something called an "eternity" lighter that I picked up for $15 at my local B&M (look at me talking like a vet). It's a great lighter because it's a torch AND a soft flame. It's hard to explain how it works but if you open it a torch comes out the top middle, or you can push down a lever on one side and a soft flame comes out the top left.

I cant copy and paste the picture but here's a link I found (I dont know this seller so dont flame me for shilling). Anyway, I end up toasting the end of my cigar with the torch then using the soft flame to really get a perfect light.

Thanks for all the recs. =d> Dropped by Wally World this afternoon and grabbed two of the Jetlites, one for the pocket and one for the golf bag. Seems to be a steal at $2.98 ea.

Will keep the bic and CI matches for around the house and as back-up.
