Pulled these arrows outta my front door. Jnichols loaded them up with smokes and shot them this way, like Bo and Luke Duke with a stick of TnT. BAM!

I sent a msg after seeing the bow he sent Numi. I wanted to know if he made them to sell as I have been wanting a long bow for a while now. NOPE! He wouldn't sell me one, but he would GIVE me one. Still in awe over this. That sucker is about as long as 3 of my compounds end to end. I got some learning to do.

It's really hard to take pictures of the bows, You did about as well as I have ever done! 👍 Takes about 3 pictures to get it all in. Have you strung it up yet?

I haven't strung it yet, been real busy to make it to Bass Pro to get one of them there stringing tools. Plus the Pats played yesterday and Bass Pro is in the same complex so I stayed away. Hopefully later tonight I can make a ride over to BP and get the stuff I need.

Get one with leather cups on each end! Not the ones with the rubber piece on the one end

I used to just put one end in the arch of my foot grab the handle with my right hand and then grab the string and slide the palm of my hand up the back of the bow( The stained Bamboo part ) till I got it to catch still way easier so get the correct stringer. Does your buddy have one?

No he doesn't. His fiberglass bow is a 50 pounder and he uses the method you just described. And his fiberglass bow doesn't seem to be nearly as stiff as this wood bow.

Yep Most people don't recommend it though as you can twist a limb if you don't know what your doing

That's a class hit right there! I'm an avid bowhunter I've had several recurves but never a long bow. Just looking at the details of the grip from the pic, you can tell that's some fine work there brother

We got about 20 drops this morning story of here as we just miss the rains either to the north or south of us, all summer long! Just enough to get the vehicles all spotted up! Grrr.

BP didn't have any in stock, and the local archery shop is closed on Mondays. 😣

bummer man, just try the old fashioned way will do it some good to get bending and you some good to learn to string it that way.
