Nice. Did you make those recurves? Also, post some shots of the counter top when it's finished.

Yes I made all those longbows was a hobby of mine a few years back. All wood and most of them backed with bamboo.
Will try and remember to get a shot of the top.

Ah.. I wasn't 100% sure if they were lbs or recurves..damn iPhones..

I'm diggin the whole setup, though. Did you say if it was detached from the house? If so, even better!

Nice, also like the recurves!

Appears they are not long enough to be long bows.

I can get to it from the french doors that open up to the patio, from the alley/driveway or through the atatched garage it's built within a metal building that was attached to the north side of the garage.

The t.v. will go on the north wall when I recover from Christmas bills!
The pisser will go in the north half of the metal shed. Need to get that done next, been using the ally! Lol

Some of those really curved ones are static tipped in other words the bend doesn't flex. Just puts the string further ahead of the back of the bow pre-load if you will

Think the majority of them are around 62"-64" in length .
Anywhere from 45-75 lb pull at 27" draw
Couple, I made for my sons

How do you like running that propane heater indoors? Trying to convince the wife to let me have one for the garage but fumes & ventilation are a concern.

If you look in the lower right corner I have an electric sun heater that does most of the work. When I turn on the exhaust fans I have to use the propane one for just a little while if it's really cold.

Very cool! Your wife must be very understanding to let you use that space like that!

She's a sweetheart, but I just did it.

The plan had been for quite awhile to install the french doors. There was an old sliding barn door type on there before, always banging in the wind, and she could barely open it.
At some point I am going to put up metal siding to match the siding on the sun room witch is adjacent to this room.
