I ordered a sampler of 3 Noellas and 3 Regios and was more than surprised at the smokes they sent.

Have any of you guys gotten any like this? Not sure how they passed as 1sts. No response yet from seller or Tatuaje.

Actually I don't care for spicy cigars, so most Tat's are out of my profile/desire (my possibly bad assumption), but I've seen a number of cigars from quite a few makers that are imperfect.

Doesn't mean I don't buy Tat's to gift/age, the Tattoo Miami's I got are easily as bad, possibly worse.

Could it be that the big influx of all us noobs has rushed the process, hence the quality of some makers.

By the way, the seller is a very well known B&M that also sells online.

we may very well be doing bidness with the same folks, Sir, hehe.

Finally, someone else that thinks that Tats aren't the best thing since sliced bread!

I didn't say I didn't LIKE them...I just don't fawn all over them like some others here on the board. It's okay. I'm having difficulty with my "plots" anyways. Been cold as heck down here.

I been sort of keeping up with the weather from our daughter, but you've been a bit colder than near the water at Charleston.

Just as well, as stated other places, this is a flint corn that does well late, in a drought, etc. I've got some rat killins today and tomorrow, but should be packing more bombs each evening as I get energy and time.

Ouch. Disappointing... Especially given their price! I'm a fan... I hope it's not a trend.

The Noellas I got smoked fine. The Regios were Very disappointing the flavor for me wasn't good & the construction wasn't on par. I can definitely relate to the veins... Overall I was just disappointed- waited awhile smoked a couple more still disappointed... Just decided they aren't for me...

Every pic I have seen of these have been very veiny. I still haven't seen one in person yet though.

The regios and 7th reservas I've gotten recently (three different sources) were really vieney too. The first couple of regios reservas didn't taste right but after a couple of weeks to acclimate, they turned around nicely.

Are the lumps from the ribbon maybe?

Actually the last 2 orders I got had a couple like this. I got 2 Baitfish 5pks and 1 pretty much fell apart when I took the cello off.

I was noticing that again last night, glad you brought that up, I was gonna poke at 'im and ask how much time it took, but thought better of it.

Hell I've opened boxes of cc's and seen different colors, splotchy wrappers, etc. But they sure smoked GOOD, hehe.


I often buy boxes, and except for a couple of exceptions, I tend to run into at least one "rougher" looking cigar in the bunch with all the makers I've grabbed.
