It seems to me you don't smoke much yet you really seem to like these. I'm going to make it my biz to find a couple just out of respect.

There is a shpo about a mile east of the mall, little strip shopping center.

Problem is I get in town most times too late and leave the next afternoon.

Yeah picked up some gulden draak (never had wanted to try.) Stopped at a local b&m and picked up a la Gloria series r esteli, a rocky Patel edge, and a antano doble fuente. Then stopped a local orchard and girlfriend bought a bunch of stuff haha

Like cigars, opinions matter to those that voice them. I like the stuff and I think it's great.

For me as I am not a bourbon/whiskey aficionado its very smooth and enjoyable. I'm not one to buy eight different bourbons and whiskeys. One at a time, okay maybe two new ones at a time.....since I drink jack Daniels by the water glass I don't want to cut into my booze budget too much.

Right now I have Knob Creek and Angels Envy when one of these is gone ill pick up a bottle of Basil's.

Wasn't meant to naysay...you are correct. It is only my opinion. Only time I've ever bought more than one bottle of bourbon on one trip was when there was a huge sale and the best deals were on bourbon.

AE is definitely smooth. For certain.

the two comments weren't related. If he had gotten any other single bottle, I would have hoped he picked something else up simply for making the drive.

Probably the best 'belgian dark' I've ever had. Well, might be second to Trappistes Rochefort 8. Better than Chimay Blue IMO.

Hmm Chimay grand reserve (blue label), is my top beer always have several bottles on hand, can't wait to try the gulden in the fridge chilling now. If you haven't tried it already, should give ommegang art of darkness a try, really good.

I'm sure you were not i was just making sure we go easy on the n00b.

I really don't know squat about the beers you all talk about. I always have shiner bock and Sam Adams Boston at home, prolly pee water compared to all the ipas and such you kids all seem to favor these days.

I'm just a 🌫, old and in the way.

Smoking a Herrera Esteli with my JD as I type on the patio.

Shiner Bock is a favorite of mine also, they don't make a bad brew at all IMO, really like shiner black and the prickly pear was really good🍺
