Chuck made the 70 mile trek over to my Colorado River house while I was there a couple days ago. Had a very nice visit, drank a few beers and torched multiple cigars and steaks. It was a very peaceful evening in the canyon and we (wife and I) enjoyed his company very much.

I got to hear several stories about past Mississippi herf's and was LMAO!!! Poor TJ.................

Had to grab a quick picture as the sun was going down and that mountain was just LIT UP like that for only 3 or 4 minutes as the sun set. The canyon and surrounding canyons are really beautiful in the winter. I imagine the wildflowers will pop out here sometime in the next few weeks (since it was in the high 80's the day this pic was taken -- Monday).

I guess I should get a few of the river in that area. It's really awesome.

My place (2nd home) is about 2 miles south of Parker Dam. Parker Dam is the dam that holds up Lake Havasu. I am on the Arizona side of the river. The other side is California.

South of us, by about 60 miles, would be Blythe. North of us, by about 25 miles, would be Lake Havasu City.
