Finally got enough cigars to actually start to fill my box.

Bought my first box of cigars a while back, pulled the lid off and used the box for my beads.

Removed the dividers that I originally placed. Don't really need em. ...yet

After a month, I'm really happy with the way this turned out. The humidity and temp are rock solid despite opening it far too often. Recently changed my setups and moved everything ready to smoke out to my desktop and left the rest in here, so we'll see how it does staying shut. I'd imagine just fine.

Good start and a novel idea that I'm sure works well. Remember that a full humidor is a happy humidor. Good Job!

I recon with them big ‘ol hunks of Spanish cedar you’ll always have a ton of humidity stability. Looks good.

Is the mouse trap part of stogie protection system?

Lookin' good, Dan! I predict that you'll need more storage within 2 months max, however.

It is rock solid, even noob-peering at my sticks all too often. some 28 board feet of Spanish cedar. 1/4" thick floor and 3/4" thick walls.

Mouse trap and sump pump just junk on the floor of my basement... Really need to clean down here but I'm the only one that ever goes down here, so I tend to neglect the clutter.

Maybe for some of you guys's collections. I'd stop buying entirely if space became an issue. I have other hobbies that need my money and attention.

I think there's 40 in there now. Could rearrange and have about 50 fullsize gars on a single layer. The walls are 6" deep, so say 50x6=300 I'd say with a couple boxes or trays I'd be able to comfortably fit 150-200 and still be able to access what I want without digging.

Eh. I really hope not. I have a large decent quality desktop that has about 35 sticks, keep ready to smoke cigars in that one and have plenty room to spare. I've easily got room to triple the amount in my hybrid, and I've got a couple tupperware containers that comfortably hold 35ea that I used before I built my hybrid humi. And if I bought more smokes than I could store, wife would find a home for them before I could.

After AR's hit today, I did some moving around. Filled my desktop to capacity and took one of each from my stash and packed brother in laws cheap chinese humidor. He gave it to me to see if I could fix it. After tearing it apart, sandwiching the base with lexan, siliconing the glass top, nailing the overlapping strips in the lid and siliconing the seams, sealing the factory hygrometer hole, its finally running well.

Cant wait to get it back to him (he's 3 hours south of me)

It was. Then AR blew my head clean off my shoulders.

Also, I bought some dollar sticks for two sister's weddings. It'll be even fuller.
