It's been a long time since NY and LA have competed for the ultimate prize in a major sport. (yes, hockey is a major sport) I hope the Kings vs Rangers will match or exceed the Hawks/Kings series in excitement and intensity.

I will take the Kings and wager a friendly fiver of super (no turds) premium cigars. If there are more than a few Rangers fans and other King fans, then they'll be matched against each other in chronological order of their bets for a fiver.

I will take up the slack and play against any excess Rangers fans for a fiver. All bets must be in by 7pm EST on Wednesday, an hour before the face-off of the first game

This is unlikely to happen, but there may be more backers of the Kings this year. If any Rangers fan wants to pick up an extra bet or two, be my guest. Otherwise the excess Kings backers will not play.
