I've seen this size in stores for $25 so $20 is a deal I just wish a I had the extra $$ or I would jump on it

Dunno the different models but my local shpo has a few OpusX in a separate display humidor at $50-80/ea so I'm thinking this is a pretty sweet deal. Still way out of my range.

$50-$80 is highway robbery plus no cigar in the world is worth $50 imo.

The Grant cigar is worth $50. A rolled up $50 bill. Otherwise I set the ceiling around $30 for something special.

I couldn't find these for near this price anywhere else. The reviews mostly say this one is one of, if not the, best sizes. IDK, I was tempted and failed. I pulled the trigger here

This is the box of 42 right? Are you buying from a dealer or a secondary market?

Just keep them and take your medicine. Pull them back out in 5-8 years when they hit their sweet spot, and laugh about the whole ordeal.

There's still 27 for my personal take. I'd have preferred to have just a tad less personal responsibility but I can settle at that just fine without too many spankings🇨🇮

That if you paid $800ish for that box you got screwed. From an opus dealer you can have that box for $600ish easy. Secondary market is high right now because fuente just made a big shipment of opus (and anejo) a few weeks back. I have not and will never buy opus online. They are crazy high online and with the opus fakes going around it may be better to buy from someone you know. Opus can be had cheap (actual msrp) once in awhile online (if you need to know the site then PM me, however they are not in stock).

Unless this box is aged (which there is a big cache of aged opus being sold off right now, sure someone died). In that case it is a good pick up.

I know that I can get lucky and get to a dealer to get a certain opus I may want. Part was an impulse buy because I freaking wanted these and no one has ever had em anywhere I've looked. I'm paying a finders fee I suppose for a part of it. I realize it's not the best price anyone can get ever. It is far from a bad price. I'm happy and it seems as though a few others are too. Could I have done better? Nope, or else I would have.

My B&M has piles of these for 13.99. Online prices are way or of line with these and Fuentes Anejo. A box of sharks just hit the shelves too...
