And it isn't just energy improvements... it's all kinds of telemarketers, charities, political bullshiit and the like. And when you ask them NOT to call you... they ignore you and keep calling.

Do not call list? Does no good, as far as I can see...

I'm likely going to cancel the home phone... and not answer the cell unless I know who it is.

You've got to be careful on how much you screw with the telemarketers. I did SUCH an amazing job of messing with a Stanley Steamer Carpet Cleaner rep, that i had two nice police officers show up at my house and the asked me to lay down onto my belly and lock my ankles. I complied fully.

I also gave them permission to search the house, carpet, and drapes for all the blood I was talking about when I was "audibly upset" on the phone with the rep.
