It is the PC world feminizing these up and coming young men, telling them to "be more sensitive", "it's ok to cry", or "show your emotion". Whatever happened to "suck it up", "rub some dirt on it", "walk it off", or my personal favorite growing up, "it's just stove up"! They just don't know how to take it anymore!!!
