This comming October 3rd marks two years that I have been playing. And I love it.

It's a walk in the park with something to do....

On the third I will attend a vendor sponsored tournament again- the one that got me started. We will spent the afternoon drinking beer, and the evening eating BBQ, with more beer. Not that I won't have a scotch. And the cigars will be nonstop.

I feel sorry for everyone who has never played.....

From my stand point the video is very accurate.

Sporting Clays, golf with guns.

At least I get to shoot at something to relieve the stress!

Instead of swing and hook, I get to swing click bang (sometimes miss) but the bang and aroma therapy makes up for a lot.

Been back to golfing after crashing my race car last fall. The game is mundane and boring to those that have never played it, to most it's a game that looks easy but it's far from easy. I've let it piss me off like that guy in the video, I've thrown clubs, lost my filter and let loose with more than a few curse words randomly thrown together and right when I'm about to break every club in half I'll hit a shot that I'll think about for days afterwards. That's the hook, that's what brings me back to playing another round every time.

Played a tournament on Saturday. 4 person scramble but we were short 1 so it was just 3 of us. I hit some of the best drives I've ever hit. Went through trees and back onto fairways twice on righthand doglegs. Couldn't find another one so we used a ball we could find and mine was right off the green about 50 feet. I hadn't even looked that close to the green because I thought there was no way I had hit that far. Made some good puts, missed some easy puts. Drank a lot of beer and smoked a decent cigar. It was a beautiful day for golf.

Nothing like seeing the sun come up on the first tee box. Breakfast sammie and coffee fever dawn. Play all morning and light one up at the turn.....

Starting on the first tee box with a cigar in one hand and a beverage in the other. Keep going until your pH is just properly balanced.

In the great state of Alabama, it gets no better than #1 on the Judge or #5 at Farm Links.

I've always said golf is a great hobby for people who can't fish...

Shows how much yo know young Jedi. Golf is a hell of a lot harder than fishing or hunting for most of us.

Yeah... I suppose you'd call it "CATCHING".

Dorado, Tuna, Yellowtail, Bonito, Sand Bass. Caught with live bait, or lures.

I've used lures, worms, salmon eggs, you name it... if it's stupid, but it works... IT AIN'T STUPID!! 😁

And a jig and pig is essentially a chunk of hot dog that moves a little bit, and that's one of the most trusted bass lures in southern waters.... I've seen some hogs brought in on those...
