They just released a report stating that processed meat and red meat are carcinogens. While I would agree that processed meat could be, to compare esting meat to smoking is patently absurd.

Catch there is definition of a carcinogen. "a substance capable of causing cancer in living tissue."

Substances and exposures that can lead to cancer are called carcinogens. Some carcinogens do not affect DNA directly, but lead to cancer in other ways. For example, they may cause cells to divide at a faster than normal rate, which could increase the chances that DNA changes will occur.

Red meat could be capable of doing that.

That being said, I will continue to enjoy the **** out of all meat.

Not saying meat is not a carcinogen, just that com pairing it to smoking makes no sense to me.

And I opened this because I was certain it was about the painful use of Who songs in commercials lately. I don't know if Pete and company have 'sold out', or if there's been some sort of rush of copyright expirations recently. And, while I'm thinking about it, WTF is LL Bean doing using James Brown in a commercial???...it's just jarring, out of place and borderline disgraceful.

About the meat stuff.....dgaf really....moderation is a good answer....just as it was a good answer before and will be tomorrow

I guess I staved off cancer for another day... I cooked blackened Mahi filets, with wild caught Mahi!!

Let's forget about the all-meat pizza I had with sausage, pepperoni, bacon, and various other processed meats yesterday.

Man, that was a great album...fresh from the death of Moon the band rebounds with an album full of material that harkens back to "Who's Next"...now if you were to say "It's Hard"...that was just crap. I remember listening to it when it came out and I was going down the road...I was with some friends and when it was over I popped it out and threw it out the window. Other than "Eminence Front"...the extended version with keyboards opening...it was all junk!
