Went to visit my friend yesterday.He opted to avoid a care home,where he could've been hooked up to an IV for hydration,and go to stay with his sister.I don't blame him but it will shorten his stay here for sure.He was cramping pretty bad from dehydration.I took him some Whataburger,his fave.........he ate about half the burger and got nauseated.His skin color was gray and it was shriveled looking.......noticeable characteristics of dehydration.One of the visiting nurses said at this rate it's mere weeks.I want to pray my friend last past Christmas for his family's sake.........but seeing him suffer may actually be worse.I pray the Good Lord takes his pain....and his earthly life as merciful as possible.
