although punch allows you to taste the flavors on the cap, you dont see any stems that might be in cigar, thats why I cut(non v) stems change the whole flavor profile..

^ yup.

I have a couple of lighters with a fold out punch: in the glove box and for my pocket, so I don't have to carry another cutter.

At home: double guillotine for torps and perfectos, V cutter for large ring gauge and scissor for everything else.
