It was at 11:05pm, exactly one year ago tonight, that I walked out of the Jones Medical Bldg, and ended my illustrious

40 year career.

One year later . . . well, let me just say, I highly recommend retirement ![gofishin]

That is fantastic! It took me over a year to finally relax and believe I was actually retired. I cannot recall how long it has been since I felt this generally happy, retirement is fantastic!

8-9 years, the good Lord willing and the creek don't rise.

I still have my hair, hearing, and eyesight (mostly). Not a lot of gray, either, but I suspect when I hit 54-55 it will be.

Congrats John! You should send smokes to us all to celebrate. j/k

My dad was lucky enough to retire at 53 and he's 71 now. Always says his "work" week is 6 Saturdays and a Sunday. I've still got about 18yrs to go.
