Uni Ball Micro pens are great for writing on the cello or the band of any cigar. I can write numbers as small as 1/8" with that pen. Like Palama, for non-Cubans, I write the date (month/year) that I receive them.

This also works great for non-cello, just write the date on the cap. You're going to cut it off anyway.

You'll never know the true production date so put / tape a band / strip of paper on each of the cigars with the date you received them and use that to gauge their "age."

I just read the date and production code on the bottom of the boxes and what Palama said on singles. 🇨🇮

How do you keep track of the age of cigars? With all 5 pks and singles how do you track the age?

Thanks for the input. Bgz nice and simple! Ones with cello were easy. Writing on the band makes sense to. Think may go with taping an extra"band" for reception date

I sharpie on the cello with the month/year of acquisition. If there's no cello, I just put them in a pile on a shelf in a tupperadore and wrap a strip of paper around one (like a band) with the info.
