Why would someone want a suppressor?

They're cool.I want a silencer,if you ever shoot a subsonic round out of a suppressor you're eyes will light up like a kid in the candy store on Christmas.

Legal risk? Don't let it out of your possession and you're ok.

They're safer on your ears (YES EVEN WITH HEARING PROTECTION), the small added weight actually makes it easier to shoot, and they're fun. Not really practical for concealed carry, but as a range gun or home defense wonderful. In the home situation the subsonics won't disorient you as much, the rounds thump hard and don't over penetrate into secondary non targets as easily.

I actually get it for home defense but again it would have to be on all the time. As for legal implications my read is you can't even let anyone else use it unless you set up a trust.

I really don't like the look that well of the business end of the barrel but the green is sort of cool. Wonder how much the ffl transfer fe would be.
