i got this text this morning:
"hes not out of the woods but they took the ecmo machine out of the room. we cant say enough how the power of prayer helped him so thank you. hes still on a lot of medication support so pray he can tolerate weaning that but were calling the night a victory"

Man, I can't imagine. We had a couple scares with our kids when they were born and they weren't even close to this. Those little things were hard enough. Praying!

i talked to his mom last night - what a sweet lady (one of my very very best friends). she hasnt been home since she delivered him 2.5 weeks ago

she told me that prior to her prayer requests the attending icu doc said they should just make him comfortable and let him pass

then they had a minor victory/breakthrough and i pray many more

Praying for continued improvement and success. Hope he and Mom get to go home soon

They are weaning his pressors and steroids. His chest is still open but the heart seems to be working. Prayers are still appreciated.
