Uuuug. Loved the casual Cactus League vibe.

Something got into, and out of, the chicken coop last night and killed 17 chickens. Only ate most of one.

Set 4 traps out back with some of the bodies.

Put up 2 trailcams.

Just went outside with a revolver and shot 4 caged raccoons. Shot at two others on foot, but no hits.

Reset traps. I'll head back out in another hour.

Didn't realize they'd kill chickens... Make me a hat?

Lying in bed this morning, reading a book before catching some sleep... heard my cat meowing upstairs... then I heard another meow from downstairs. Ruh-roh, Raggy.

Stray in the house. Wife said she heard them fighting just before she woke up at 4am.

I go downstairs and see the offender, but he's staying on the back patio. Won't come in, or take food from my hand, but he did gobble up a handful of cat food I dropped outside the cat door.

I was trying to be nice, but when I got up this afternoon he had peed and pooped on a bathroom rug. Okay.

Sooooo... I set a trap with food and He'll get a short trip to coyote-ville tomorrow morning if he takes the bait.

Man, the wildlife around this place. Dan's trapping raccoons. Mac's trapping pu$$y. I've only had to deal with mice this year myself

Damn raccoons destroy traps if you don't get out there and kill em quickly enough.

One tore a hole through the side, another just completely mangled the trigger plate assembly. Only the first one got out though. So that's 5 raccoons in one night. New record. Only shot 3 in a night before.

Anywho... never had a mouse issue, since I have a cat.
