Got a flat today. Made it to the parking lot at Total Wine and parked. Ruptured sidewall, so no can fix.

Looked all over my back seat for the jack and lug wrench and such... and can't find it for the life of me. So I call roadside assistance. He shows up 20 minutes later, after I purchased my beers, and shows me it's located under the front passenger seat, behind a cover that pops off. However, there is a part missing that lowers the spare, so we had to borrow one...

Cute Asian chick lets us use hers... and gives me no end of crap for not changing my own tire. 🤦

Went to the dealer closest to me to get the part I was missing. It'll be in tomorrow.

Wound up getting 4 new tires today. Had I not punctured that tire, I probably could have waited another year for new ones. I just didn't want to buy 2 and then 6-12 months later, 2 more. Fuggit...

LOL Don't revoke yet, last tire issue and one prior, I contact AAA Motor club and let them handle it. Saves lot of time and hassle. [frypan]

Have the roadside thing but last flat i had i just fixed it... have a 12 volt compressor and a plug kit.. didn't take long... 😟

Don't feel bad I had a blowout on my truck a few months ago in a downtown area. Pulled over to the side and started jacking the truck up when a good Samaritan stopped to help and we couldn't get the wheel off. A cop stopped by and lent us a sledge hammer and after several minutes we got it off. Drove to a tire place on the other side of town and bought a new tire (spare is 21 years old and I don't trust it) for $ 110 installed. The rest of the tires only have about 20k on them, so I'm not ready to put 4 new ones on a 21 year old truck. First time I needed help to change a tire.

I know how to change a tire. I didn't know where my jack was... never needed it. Then when the kit was missing a part, it all went downhill from there.

The cute Asian chick helping was the icing on the cake. We chatted while the guy changed the tire and she was relentless.

Her: "I could have done that for you, ya know... I have 4 brothers".

Me: "I have 4 sisters!"

Her: "Well that explains a lot".

Me: 🤦

Factory jacks suck ass Macs last time wife had a flat went to the house and got the floor jack had an ole man on crunches a few years ago sitting in a restaurant that we frequent had a flat nobody stopping to help the fella so I stopped and helped had his jack out trying to do this with one hand I went and got my jack and tools and helped the fella out come to find out he was a veteran when I got him fixed up he gave me a 20 and a air tank which I tried to refuse but he was not having that great man
