I am not one to pick out flavors in a cigar, but I love cream in a cigar, I can pick that out lol ..This is my fav connecticut, anyone who has smoked these, do you taste cream in them? I could of swore I tasted cream in the one I had tonight ..

Pretty much every Connecticut is the same to me with the exception of the my father Connecticut and the ashton vintage cabinet selection (I think that's what it's called)... And what separates those 2 from the rest is that creaminess you mention...

Wasn't really all that tempted to try one until now. Thanks a lot. Seriously, have you smoked the Oliva Connie? If so, please tell how you think they compare. The Oliva is probably my fav when I'm in the mood for a milder smoke.

Thanks for the Oliva vs MF input. Will have to give them a try some day. As someone who generally favors stronger smokes, it's not easy to find a connie that appeals to me except for those times when I want a mild smoke. Making a mild cigar with good flavor seems to be a bit of a black art.

My latest "find" among mild cigars is the Fratello Oro. It's wrapped in Ecuadoran Connecticut...very creamy with some complexity and flavor variations from the average connie...

it's been a few years since I smoked a MF Connecticut...I wasn't that impressed then...may have to revisit...

Delta, what would you say the CVU output rating is on the Fratello?

1 - 10...about a 7, better than half and half but not close to heavy whipping...maybe redi whip lite
