... well, almost ... hehehe!

As a Bucanero Ambassador, I contacted Keith (of CI/CB) and Robert (of Bucanero) about the possibility of Cigars International carrying the Bucanero line ... a few weeks back.

Well ... I am proud to announce that it's a done deal. Robert sent Keith some samples and all the information about these wonderful cigars ... and they liked them (who doesn't?) so much ... they placed an order with them!

You can all thank me for this by sending a cigar to SteveS ... LOL!

And to all you Bucanero Ambassadors out there ... this is what it's all about (honestly, I was shocked to find out that not one of the other Ambassador's thought of it before I did) ...

... and let the bidding begin!

I'm not knocking them but Bucanero says on their web site that they do not sell to mail order dealers.

efm --- why stir the pot, are you trying to ruin it for everyone? LOL! Just joking!!!

For your information ... there can always be exceptions to any rule, as long a certain criterion has been met.

After a lengthy phone conversation with Robert, part of which was about this ... he informed me that he will not sell the Bucanero line to strictly internet businesses, as they want to help keep the 'brick and mortar' (mom and pop) tobacconists from going out of buisness. But, If these 'brick and mortar' tobacconists also happen to have a 'web presence' where they also sell cigars, they can also sell Bucanero cigars on their internet site ...

Do a Google search for Bucanero cigars ...

I found four sites that sell them on the web, one will even sell singles and five-packs. They just don't have the 'newer' ones (Full Sails or Peg Legs)in yet ...

Okay. I'm eager to try a Bucanero, people seem to like them. Will watch for them on CBid. And next time I need some bricks and mortar I'll buy them here too.

I've been a Bucanero fan (and, the first to mention them on this board) for more than a year and for all that time, have known of half a dozen stores with Web presences where I could buy Bucaneros ... in that time, I've bought Bucs from two of them ... Slim's right about the "brick 'n mortar" store being the main thing ...

I've been gifted a Bucanero Peg Leg by Mr. Mean. I can honestly say it's one of the best cigars I've smoked in quite awhile. They are the cream of the crop. I also have a Buc Classico Churchill waiting to be fired up. This is definitely a "must-try" brand.
