I have suffered from severe sinus issues for years - ever since I lost a collision at home plate (catcher) in high school and had my nose broken in 4 spots along with a broken collar bone and concussion. Fast forward 40 years and I had to have surgery to correct the deviated septum and crushed sinus cavities. I use the NeilMed sinus rinses every day and twice a day during allergy season. My Doc has also perscribed a capsule (budesonide/mometasone) that I add to the rinse in the morning that helps reduce swelling.
Be sure to heat the distilled water in the microwave to warm it beforehand - helps reduce the shock from cold water. The rinse works wonders - you might be amazed by what junk comes out the first few times you do it.
And just like your humidor, only used distilled water.
