Bill has been in the game long enough to NOT do any knee-jerk trading and generally lets the draft come to him. In fact, I think he’s more apt to trading back than up. The one time I can remember trading back didn’t work out was when in 2009 he traded with Green Bay and the Packers chose Clay Matthews with NE’s 1st round pick. 🤦
As far as SF goes, other than their two 1st round picks, iirc, they’re thin in the 2nd to 5th rounds so would seem like candidates to trading back to get picks for Friday. Their back-to-the-Super Bowl window is getting smaller as the rookie contracts of those high draft picks start expiring (...case in point Buckner...).
