Weaponizing the FBI to investigate a political rival, paying foreign nationals to create false evidence to justify spying, creating perjury traps, deceiving courts with known fabrications. They knew if they didn't stop Flynn he would have easily discovered all this malfeasance so they destroyed him through the grievous threat of attack on his children. But you certainly know all this as as much as whoopi does but it doesn't matter.

as for Obamagate, all you need to know is that Trump's personal legal henchman, the nation's top prosecutor AG Bill Barr, said he would not investigate the allegations that make up the Obamagate story...

if there was any evidence of crimes committed by Obama and his folks, especially Biden, don't you think Trump would compel his AG to go after them, especially in the run up to the election?

Intent...that is an essential element of proving that was a crime...without it, you don't have proof beyond a reasonable doubt that she committed the crime...

in Trump's mind, tho, an actual investigation and conviction isn't necessary...just an "announcement" ...

remember the quid pro quo with the Ukrainian president? Trump only wanted him to make a public announcement that they were investigating Biden...that would be enough to muddy up Biden during the campaign season...

BUT, Trump and the republicans haven't fulfilled any of their campaign promises. Shocker that politicians promise the world and deliver nothing. They had control of the executive, both chambers of the legislative and the judiciary (it shouldnt be political but it is) and they didn't even repeal Obamacare. Something all of them got elected to do. Hillary wasn't "locked up" Abortion continued. The border remains open. NSA spying continues. The wars continue. Big government spending has continued. The U.S. still gives its wealth to other nations. Trump even arbitrarily banned bump stocks, so his administration has even managed to enact more gun control by executive decree.

I dont think the president is as powerful as some like to believe.

Other than not indicating a desire for outright gun confiscation Trump sounds like the last guy. Maybe the republican party is still more conservative, but that divide is becoming harder and harder to see on the Federal level.

I for one don't make my decisions based on Gaffes. I'm not even outraged about what Biden said, to me it's sad that he thinks that way, but a lot of people do. Maybe he doesn't think that way and he was just bs'n with the guy like Delta said. Maybe Trump was just trolling the media about drinking bleach. But you got to ask yourself, what has Trump really done? What would Biden do, not much either.

True, and well said but Trump is at least a speed bump on the road to globalism and socialism and appointed a bunch of constitutionally conservative Judges. That's really all I expected.
