Ok, that's to much coincidence for me.

The dude in CA.... his "half brother"? just got killed by CA deputies. They pulled him over because they believed he matched the description of someone wanted for kidnapping.

could be just terrible timing...I read the half brother was accused of assaulting, pistol-whipping, threatening and kidnapping his ex-girlfriend over several days...she made a report to the cops and identified him as the suspect...so they knew who he was, and wanted to arrest him...when they tried to arrest him, he started shooting...his gun was recovered at the scene...

suspiciously none of the cops' car cams or body cams were on during the shooting...there is some surveillance video taken from the camera system in place at the apt. complex where the take-down occurred that may be enlightening...

yeah... I read the gun recovered. Don't know anything about his assault. I don't know if he was the one they were looking for when they pulled him over (might be... news is chaotic these days...). It's weird, but it still can coincidentally happen.

It’s clear that he was murdered by a Nazi police force...

No. That's not clear. It's possible he was killed in a by-the book arrest by a Nazi police force. No need to jump to them doing anything illegal yet.

Sounds like something The Commie 13 should be investigating. Do they smoke cigars or own a 9mm?

I dunno... do we have a Law and Order SVU division or something? That sounds like it might cut into my limited drinking time....

When having suicidal thoughts, there is no more logic working in your brain. You are stuck in the amygdala part of your brain (fight, flight, freeze). Usually persons with suicidal thoughts and actions are wanting the pain to stop. It makes logical sense to them in the time due to being stuck in the amygdala. We are normally able to use our prefrontal cortex, which handles logic. So, while it may seem illogical or odd to hang oneself in a public place to us, for the person struggling with suicide, it could completely logical.

I am too personally emotionally invested to talk much more about it.

If your drinking time is limited you need to rethink your priorities.

are you in either the helping profession side or science side of the issue?

Or have dealt with losses from suicide of loved ones?

Or both?

It can be horrible dealing with some of the more miserable parts of life.

Feel free to open up and discuss it here, or PM us if it's more comfortable.

You're not alone.

Both, work in behavioral health and lost a brother, coworker, and clients to suicide. But, the science of the brain is what fascinates me. It took 3 years in college to figure that out! Have a degree in sociology. You are all part of my experiment! Lol. JK. Not really. Always learning.

PS one of you guys already reached out and that is the awesome thing about community, whether IRL or online.

In LANCASTER, PA...

We have a "favorite pArKinG ghEyraGe" about 6 stories tall which the minorities prefer to jump off of ...

No public tree hangings around here...

That I know of?

Jump and splat is preferred.

turns out one of the guys found hanging from a public tree in SoCA was a legit suicide...video evidence from an adjacent business was shown to relatives who later made a public statement acknowledging it was a suicide, after days of insisting it wasn't...tragic...
