Quick CDC research: 6% of deaths have no comorbidities. That should satisfy your prerequisite. But, death isn't the only bad outcome of COVID-19.

CDC also says, for example, that those age 50-64 years alone who have corona- are 4x likelier to require hospitalization and 30x more likely to die- compared to a young person who becomes infected has corona.

I am vigilant because I have pre-existing conditions (that are under excellent control), but which could easily play a part in any covid complications; my 82 year-old mother, although very youthful for her age, would not survive a covid infection; and my wife works in a skilled care facility (nursing home).

Experts believe that corona's risk will soon pass with the new vaccine, like polio did. I just wish others would have respect for those at risk or who are taking serious precautions for other reasons. All they need to do is simply choose to wear a mask and socially distance when in public.

I don't think that this is too much to ask of other Americans for another six or so more months. Do you?

Masks work, the numbers are not inflated, this thing is dangerous, extremely contagious and forget mandates. Do the right thing, don’t be a douchy tool in the name of politics. It’s not worth yours or someone else’s early demise.

I read the story about how the health authorities in South Korea traced how a woman got infected in a town with zero positive cases, by using cell-phone GPS data to track her movements....seems she was in a restaurant at the same time as an out-of-towner who was positive...they were together in the restaurant for only five minutes and were never closer than 20 feet apart...
