thanks for the insight on solar, Bucky...

our house in Corona, SoCal has 35 solar panels on the roof, installed and paid for by the original owner in 2012...they generate enough electricity to pay our electric bill all year long, provide a cash back credit at the end of the year (only get pennies on the dollar though) and contribute a net gain to the grid each month...

CA has built quite a few solar farms out in the desert, harvesting electricity...

CA is a sweet spot for solar not only because you get a lot of sun but because of CA's newly mandated building codes. Starting in 2020 newly built single and multifamily homes (3 stories of less) need to have a solar photovoltaic system that is large enough to meet the estimated annual electricity usage of that building. To meet the code it doesn't have to be all solar panels, it can be mix of panels, solar batteries, battery storage systems, and stuff.

There are some exceptions to this such as if the property is too small or doesn't receive sufficient sun exposure. Also developers can build a "community" solar project as opposed to panels on each and every rooftop if approved by some local board or sumptin.

RayRay... why do you care what New York does?

Just read through them... didn't see anything glaring... 2020 happened, so Tesla is probably going to get penalized...

New York is a known liberal state... so why do you care what they do?

New York taxpayers being robbed to invest in private corporate enterprises by building and equipping factories. No...nothing glaring there, it just progressive business as usual.

Close buddies of Progressive governor caught in bid rigging scandal, of course to rob taxpayers. Who said the mob was dead? Nothing glaring there, it just progressive business as usual.

Who cares if these wise gubment investments to promote artificial economic development,. even if their best plans actually played out as advertised cost the taxpayers $1Million per job created. Of course gubment fascist economic rackets never play out for those taxpayer involuntary investments but...nothing glaring there, it just progressive business as usual.

Who cares if all this sh*t has nothing to do with capitalism but is strangely highly reminiscent of Italian fascist economic policies...nothing glaring there citizen, don't be alarmed. It just progressive business as usual.

You probably don't even care if these progressive shenanigans are going on in your state either or going on nationally through your sacred halls of Congress. Nope, nothing glaring there, your wise overlords know what they're doing. They know the taxpayers at large are born suckers and 🐑 and won't say baaaah when getting fleeced, so progressive business goes on as usual.

Nope RayRay... don't care, you are 100% correct.

I generally don't care about things I can't control... that sh*t will stress you out, cause you to go fat and bald, get matching blisters on your hand and your ****...

Yeah... stressing about sh*t you can't control just isn't worth it...

And I especially don't GAF about what NY is doing... it's to be expected... if you live there RayRay, you should consider moving.

Well "b*tching to a bunch of grumpy old farts" as you say and call yourself one of them is not going to change the world, but at least it's entertaining.😂

I'd settle for a handful of levels.

So far there are mostly philosophers but no one implementing the philosophy.

I meant his energy should be going toward getting a few Libertarians on ballots and maybe even elected rather than scold us commies for disagreeing with him.

Frank, you just don't get it, I've seen too much, I don't expect anything good to come from the masses and the Boobistocracy. But I'm not pessimist, I'm a realist. Most Americans are in denial of the destructiveness of the State and time is running out. Hasn't 2020 taught you anything? Do you really think getting a few Libertarians elected is going to change anything when the tide of oblivious lemmings are running headlong for the cliff?
The only question is...when the world goes to hell in a handbasket, who will be left to pick up the pieces?
