Anyone remember the CAO Criollo Pato?

Back when I first started smoking cigars this was one of my favorite. Now that I have returned I found out that they have discontinued them.

What are your suggestions that are similar?

Yeah, thems were good smokes.

Joya de Nicaragua Antaño uses a criollo wrapper. I'm a fan of Nicaraguan tobacco and I wouldn't turn one down. They are pretty inexpensive on the auctions here (~ $5/cigar). I also like their Dark Corojo line.

Try a Kristoff Criollo.

Or an Illusione original documents.

I agree with the Joya de Nicaragua Antaño. The Double Fuerte are my fav of the line. Reasonable price for the smoke.

My limited understanding is Jalapa valley is growing some of the highest quality Criollo 98 in the world right now. Imo
Aganorsa is selling the best of it to the likes of Vieja, Warped, Illusione, EZ & their affiliates & of course Aganorsa.
GeTcHa SoMe, or leave it all to me cuz I love the salted caramel, chocolate covered raisins, leather, earth, pepper, cream, floral & nutty goodness that is Criollo 98.
I'll be over my criollo kick soon I'm sure but for now I'm HOOKED, BOOKED & COOKED.
Forget the past, the future of Cigars is just starting
if you got the coin & know where to shop Puma.

I am game for knowledge...that is why I am here.

Like many noobs CiBid is my first stop on the search for not over paying for cigars. I would love a DM to know where else to shop. I have three coolerdors airing out at home thanks to my wife and they need to be filled before I get home...lol

I am stationed in Kuwait for the time being and decided to get back into the herf game with a few buddies. Thus went to the mothership and spent a ton of money and then thought there has to be something more efficient. Quick google search led me here...and I was like oh I have seen this before...but never really got into it. As when I was in my 20s and took up cigars I could not afford them often and thus dropped it.

Now that I am in my 40s I can afford them, but still don't want to pay the outrageous prices being asked.

Oh...Happy New Year...well it is for me...you suckers still have at least six hours left in that dumpster fire!

I can't play...I can't send anything from Kuwait. I'll dribble on someone's doorstep in about a year.

lol....actually customs might let me send that...but no tobacco products...:-k

I got some shorts from amazon a few weeks ago...wrong size. I tried to send them back at the post office and had to fill out all these customs forms...they have to open the package if we seal it and look through all the contents. A real pain in the arse to send something back to the states that came from the states.

I appreciate it..I really do....but I just dropped $500 to supply my needs while here (I am that noob that overpaid by a lot at the mothership).

My two humidors are maxed out. I am very close to having to go buy a cooler and go that route if anything else were to arrive...not a real problem if you ask me...but taking anything back home is the problem. I would have to hand carry it as there is no way customs would allow me to mail any tobacco products home. I mean a 30qt cooler is not to big to hand carry...😲
