So, serious question. Why was Belichick being considered for the Freedom medal? It's for something he does outside of coaching I hope?

by missing the playoffs after Brady went to Tampa Bay, that suggested Brady was more important to the Patriot's past success...great coaches always credit the players...

Trump wanted to honor a fellow loser, one who had been a supporter in the past...

but I want to see what tail thinks...he's the expert on Belichick

Giving out these awards is like giving out participation medals at the end of the season for 3rd grade soccer teams. Seems like it's the thing to do nowadays even if they don't deserve all these manufactured awards and honorary degrees.

I'd still take it then give it to Jonesie for scrap reclamation. (I'd toss it in a grease trap dumpster first just to watch him go diving).
