I'll bite, I'm a sucker for good bait... in this case... it wasn't very good, but still bait.
I always like arguing with a Christian, especially of the Evangelical or non-denominational variety...
They think they know something about the grand fabrication, but in the end it's just a fabrication... The equivalent of memorizing the words to pulp fiction or something... you're basically trying to memorize and bring meaning from a novel... in which case there are far better novels than the Bible.
Think about the King James version... it's old, it's been here almost a millennia (just kidding, it's only been here for about 400 years), so it's a bit dated. Nobody talks like they do now in the bible, and you guys try to grab meaning from their words... you people claim it's the most well written, perfectly edited book of all time... well, I would hope f*cking so, it's been in print since the printing press. Yet you can't prove that it's the most well written, most beautifully edited work of all time, because you barely speak the same f*cking language... I mean, you're going off a bad translation as it is(seriously, look it up).
Anyway, I for one believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster... mainly because I like spaghetti... and meat balls... and I agree with Tony, I'll require proof of his non-existence... until then, I'm of the position that my god will beat up your god when they meet... and in the mean time, I'll continue to eat the stringy pasta that bears it's good name (we don't know it's gender, if it's a dude, it's got a noodle d*ck).
