I usually use the robusto as barometer of a blend...toro next.

I concur wholeheartedly.............. with the corona hot on it's heels

Corona, lancero, robusto in order of preference but the trend to larger gauges make it harder to find corona and lancero sizes.

98.2% of my stock have been toros, but the handful of corona versions I’ve tried have been delicious.
Wouldn’t touch a lancero, as the Wombat has strongly advised against it.
And I am nothing if not obedient and respectful...

When I started would only smoke lancero/lonsdale and corona. Picked up robusto because I was severely limited on available blends in the smaller sizes. Corona gorda is my current sweet spot

Like the long gone Perdomo2 and Cupido Criollo. I have a few of each left but can't bring myself to smoke them because once the are gone, they are gone forever. I should've bought more of these when they were readily available.

Depending on how you define “best”, I’d vote (...if we were doing a poll...) for Corona.

Perfect wrapper-to-filler ratio, ideal length and RG which leads to smoke time of 45 to 60-ish minutes.

Too short you say? Well hey, to paraphrase the great Ernie Banks, “Let’s smoke two!”

Don’t get me wrong, the Lancero is a great vitola too but I’ve had more draw issues with them than Coronas. The PerfecDraw tool will fix a Corona lickety-split but not always the case with the longer, thinner brother. I also need to pay more attention when I smoke a Lancero (...yah, okay, I’mma nOOb so whatja expect?...) and the sometimes l-o-n-g smoke time of close to 2 hours doesn’t always fit the available garage time.

Corona/Corona gorda/Petite Corona

The P2 Torfecto in the Cameroon wrapper was incredible.I'm not sure you could improve on that vitola in that particular cigar..........simply amazing.I'm not a big perfecto fan but Nick's torfecto was second to none.I have a couple maduro robustos fast asleep but I wish they were the torfectos in Cameroon.

You know, I probably sing the praises of more lanceros than most on here, but that's mostly because there are definitely a few lines that have the Lancero as the pinnacle of their line. Cain F, Olivia V, Trinidad all meet that bar. There are some blends that just don't lend themselves to being rolled as a Lancero though. Personally, I tend to like lonsdales and Coronas/petit Coronas a lot, but enjoy everything from robusto, toro, and Churchill's, just do not prefer over-50 RG cigars.

Lancero is my fave but toro and robusto are my norms unless cutting the grass and that is Churchill territory

Varies from cigar to cigar blend. I like some lanceros, dislike most coronas, tend to favor robustos and toros, like some churchills and presidentes. I think I've smokes about all of the 5 Vegas Gold vitolas and surprisingly the double bullion (6x60) seems to be the best.

I’ve got a bit of everything. I’m just not a huge ring guage kinda guy. I’ve got a lot of toros in the 50 ring size. I too like lanceros very well. Lately I’ve been buying Coronas. Some of the Coronas is consider corona Gordos. Hmmm.

Keep it around 50 ring guage and I’ll burn it. I even like the 47 ring Churchill pretty well.

Guess I’m not picky.
