On Monday, October 4th I tested positive for covid-19. By Sunday, October 9th I lost my sense of taste & smell. It's not gone 100% but damn close. Researching shows me that 4 out of 5 get their senses back in 6 months but 1 in 5 don't. That's 20%! I just tried smoking an E.P. Carrillo Pledge since I know what flavors to expect and it was a waste. Im just curious if any members can share their experience.

Might as well send me all the Pledges so they don't go to waste.

Wife's niece lost her taste & smell about 4 months ago due to covid and has not regained it. She is a pastry chef which must be really tuff to deal with.

Hope you get yours back soon.

I lost my ability to taste the different nuances of cigars back in 2006. Not sure wtf happened, but I used to be able to taste all kinds of flavors. Now they're just muted... a cigar is either good or bad.

Quit for a while. Didn't come back. Now I smoke once in a while... usually when fishing.

I know someone who completely lost their sense of taste and smell,
And never got it back. Not from COVID tho…

My daughter had the ‘Rona in August 2020. Mild cold symptoms but lost her taste and smell for at least three months. Still occasionally has another side effect which is smelling cigarette smoke when none is around.

I never fart. Sometimes I just share aromas from my a-hole.

Kinda creepy if you think of it. When you smell a fart... those molecules were just in someone's a-hole moments ago and now they are in your sinuses.

My ‘Rona daughter does organ transplant routing but that’s legit and she does mostly heart, lung, liver, and kidneys.
