any people who break the law while protesting or otherwise exercising their 1st Amendment rights should be arrested, charged and tried...just as those who violently broke into and occupied the Capitol on Jan. 6....none of whom have been hanged, but are getting their due process...hanging is what the Jan 6 mad mob had in mind when they brought a gallows and a noose to the capitol and went looking for Pelosi and Pence...

but to compare this attack on the Dept. of the Interior with 1/6 is egregious conflation ...

Cops are actually trained to shoot until the threat is gone, not necessarily dead. But indeed they don’t shoot to wound….not exactly the same thing. And man it would be nice if citizens we’re given the same leeway in shootings.

Stores in SF are NOT ALLOWED to o ANYTHING if it’s under $1K (theft). I can’t imagine they can legally open carry, and I’m pretty sure it’s a “shall issue” state for concealed carry. So I’m kind of confused as to how the liquor store employee is supposed to even be able to defend himself with lethal force. The law does NOTHING to protect citizens or businesses….I’m not sure you know how this is working. The State of California has gone as far as having a handgun “roster” you’re only allowed to own certain firearms. You’re not allowed to carry ammo and firearm in the same part of the vehicle, and in SF I don’t think you’re allowed to carry a loaded firearm unless you have a concealed carry license (and again good luck with that unless you’re either a celebrity or a politician you know the people that can afford security….)

The only time lethal force is justified is when your life is in danger.

Just because it is named “Critical Duty” doesn’t mean it used as duty ammo by a LEO. According to the product verbiage it can penetrate bricks.

This has liability written all over. No LEO is taught to shoot through any “common urban barrier.” Instead, they are taught they are responsible for ever round sent downrange. To shoot through a barrier invites waaaaaaay too many unknowns.
