Russia/USSR plays American presidents like a drum. They didn't play Reagan or Kennedy. Patton had it right when he said, and I am paraphrasing, Why stop at Berlin, the path is wide open to Moscow. Instead of limited sanctions, close Russia's imports/exports to the entire world. Hold all their financial assets outside Russia. Turn off the natural gas pipeline to the United Kingdom. Start a military technology escalation and let them spend themselves into bankruptcy. Use our fleet, the United Kingdoms fleet, and the French fleets submarines to track all of their submarines. If any of them open torpedo doors or attempt a missile launch. Use an emp pulse to destroy their electronics. Play the game that dramatically increases tension/hostilities between Russia and China, and the beat goes on. Oh, also remove our diplomats from Russia and kick theirs out. In fact let's do that around the world.
