I like mine HOT as well but there is a point that it stops being flavor and is just tolerance. I am likewise banned from spiking most anything that is being cooked.

Got the chili going... 1 lb ground beef, 1 pound diced chuck roast, sauteed with garlic, onions and all the spices. Put it all in the crock pot for 6 hours with all the other ingredients... including beans. 😁

Beans are a condiment to be served on the side or it’s not chili.

Wheel.

Never understood the non-bean eaters...

They have protein, and they give you a gift you can share with the whole family.

Made chili for some Texas fellows on a hunting trip once, didn't know beans in chili was close to a lynching offense.

Plus, as a relocated Los Angeles native to NorCal, I really do miss Tommy's Burgers. They invented the chili burger and didn't need beans to do it.

You're using a crock pot, putting canned beans in (hint: they're already cooked) and then cooking them for 6 more hours....

I'll bet your chili makes awesome wallboard paste.

God I miss a good Tommy's Burger............messy as **** but the messier the better and the chili is outfuqqingstanding

Beans are just filler..........real cattle trail chili was about showcasing Texas beef.In New Mexico its more about showcasing chili peppers, green or red.

The only place that showcases the beans in their chili is NEW YORK CITY.................... and MACS crockpot

Shawn you have blasphemed real chili in so many ways...........Ima pray for ya 😁
