I got the letter twice but the supplier I ordered them from replaced the order at no charge after showing proof that they were confiscated (emailed a copy of the letter).

I've had many shipments arrive just fine. I wasn't ever worried about the government breaking down my door or any legal issues, there are bigger fish to fry than some dude ordering some cigars.

tbh, buying Cuban cigars hasn't seemed to be risky given all the guys here who've owned up to trouble-free purchases...only one, that I know of, has received the so-called "letter"...

it's like everybody says they're wary of an IRS audit, but will still include some fudge in their annual return...

When I was dating a Cuban woman, Tio always had the hookup. Every cigar from Tio had 3-5 coca leaves in it. That big rich plummy creamy smoke would kick in at the 2nd third mark. They were often rebranded in Nicaragua, so I have no idea what house they came from.

Elaina dumped me because, and I quote, "You dance too white". But I was tired of road trips and crashing studios with 14 heads on the floor, anyway.

I do miss the wine, coffee and cigars though.
