Revolting development: I had surgery a few weeks ago to remove a cancer spot and even though I followed the docs recommendations on care it has become infected. I am now on a course of Doxycycline and it requires me to stay out of the direct sunlight. I already have expensive tickets to the NHRA drags for Friday with my two brothers and the Mechem car auction on Saturday all in about 84 degrees and sunny.

Anybody have a burka I can borrow? 🤦

I am now on a course of Doxycycline and it requires me to stay out of the direct sunlight. I already have expensive tickets to the NHRA drags for Friday with my two brothers and the Mechem car auction on Saturday all in about 84 degrees and sunny.

Most of my DNA is Scandinavian so my skin tint it pretty white - prolly a couple steps away from albino. I could probably get a sunburn under florescent lights. If I'm outside for a prolong time, sunscreen and a baseball hat is a must during the summer months. I think my nose and ears are permanently sunburned.

On a positive note, if I needed to get a skin graft, they could prolly take it from my a$$. It's always protected from the Sun... so I got that going for me.

Got one new downspout and another re-routed. Man, the guy was an artist with a pair of tin snips, poking them through the pipe, then simultaneously making two parallel cuts to trim the pipe. The twin cuts produced a short length of pipe that he turned into a mounting stip.
