Overcast but still a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Lil misty out, tried to smoke on the patio but had to retreat to the garage with doors open.

Very happy to be home from Missouri, we had a great family visit.

Thirteen hours of driving to get home is a lot of idiots to tolerate. I want to propose a Go Fund Me to fund special police officers to only ticket and if necessary, B'slap left lane Louies and Louises. Second offenders would forfeit their license and get their vehicle impounded. Once that is solved maybe enforce the use of cruise control.

Third day of rain. We get an upgrade to Partly Cloudy tomorrow.

Overall good for the farmers. We've gone from a troubling lack of Spring rain to the farmers won't be able to get out onto the fields for at least a week. Oats planting will be at least a week behind.

Don't miss those days of rock picking in the fields. For oats, pick every rock the size of a baseball and bigger.
Corn, softball size and bigger. Planting oats then corn a few weeks later with fertilizer.

Think we used too much fertilizer- every year, it seemed the rocks were bigger.

Tried to do things today but other things kept getting in the way.

Went to the carwash as step 1 in a car detailing day. Got home and finished the outside, scrubbing the wheels and body seams, door jambs etc.

Took a quick break to put up patio lights and tried to put up the sail shade but it had stretched so much I couldn't get any more slack taken up by the turnbuckle so I went n bought a new one. Came home and wife was sitting on the patio with a fire going. Can't drape the new shade over a hot firepit so I went back to the truck.

Pulled the floormats and scrubbed those, was finishing with the pressure washer when it suddenly started pouring rain and turned into a thunderstorm with hail. Shoved everything in the garage and aborted that project. Just now got the floor mats back in. Carpet and seats desperately need cleaned. But I need a hot dry day and now it's cool and humid.
