Afternoon folks. Had an interesting few days.
My car was side-swiped late last week and we were booked on a trip leaving Sunday. Half a dozen calls, text with the insurance and took the car in to a collision shop. They thought both drivers side door and some lower structure would need to be repaired. On our 1st day of the trip I got word from Farmer's Insurance that my car a 2018 CR-V with 40K miles was considered totaled.
At the rental counter in Denver they looked at my drivers license and said it would expire in two days even though my birthday is two weeks away. Guess I renewed it early the last time, so they had to rent the car in my wife's name for days after that. We were able the get a 5 year renewal via on-line a few days later.
Wifey then came down with covid so we decided to come back two days early. I have not felt any symptoms yet but fully expect to soon. Seem to have a slight sore throat as I type this. No refunds from our AirB&B booking and about double prices for last minute plane tickets.
Glad to be home.

I gotta do some lab work tomorrow morning so no more eating or drinking until I go in. Of course I can drink water (…gotta do the pizz into the small cup thing…) or black coffee but I’mma sugar and creamer guy so water is the only choice.
