This is the 2nd cold I've had in three weeks. I haven't been able to smoke but maybe two stogies in a month.

What do you guys reccomend for knocking a cold out quick?

Nasal inhalers usually clear me up quick, but smoking a cigar after using one is ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! It's like smoking a menthol.

The cure is almost worse than the disease...octo

Do you think that maybe you have a sinus infection that may need antibiotics to get rid of?

Also, try boosting up your immunities with some vitamins and supplements that your doctor, pharmacist or maybe a health food store might recommend.

Some people swear by something that Henry's (a health food store) carries. I think it's called Wellness Formula or something like that. I've tried it, but it just seems to prolong my cold...not as severe as usual, just longer.

Drink lots of water to 'flush' your system...

And do what mom always told us, "WASH YOUR HANDS!"

Feel better soon! If not, you can send your 'gars to me, LOL!

2 colds 3 weeks don't sound right.

I do like what E-Chick said.

I add Vitamin C to the list. It is best when consumed by eating products high in Vit. C but just as good in 500mg two to three times daily tabs.

At least this works for me.

Ester C is better than regular C. At least that and some tequila works for me.

Oh yeah plenty of vitamins, you can get your vitamin C from orange juice and grenadine you know and even if the vitamins don't work you just don't give a sh*t about being sick anymore.

Seriously somebody told me about Zinc Lozenges. You can find them at Walgreens or most drug stores I would imagine.

Too late for zinc. It's intended prevent rather than cure.
Sounds like what you've got is viral, rather than bacterial. Antibiotics won't work. Only time.
Liquids, liquids, and more liquids.
1500 mg of C will keep you close to home. Buy soft TP...

I don't know. I think I just caught two different strains of something from two different people.

It looks like your gonna die. Withdraw your savings and head to Vegas. Hookers, Gambling & drinking may be the only cure! If that doesnt clear you up nothing will. Dont worry about condems, you are going to probably die anyway. Smoke one for me while you are out there! It was nice knowing you. :>)

Mag

PS: The only vitamin you need is Viagra, dont forget them!

From what I've read, having a serious cold for an extended period of time will seriously effect your sense of taste.

All of your premium cigars will taste like Bad Frogs and Lone Wolf's!!!

So in order not to waste your premi's, I suggest sending them to ME. I will return the favor by helping you replenish your supply with the above mentioned cigars.

Always willing to help...

One more thing - I asked my wife about your situation, she is a nurse.

Her advice is to walk in the cold weather 20 minutes every day. The cold weather will kill any type of bacteria in your sinus (lungs Etc.) and help you get rid of the cold.

Give it a try what can it hurt?
