We just applied for our first home mortgage on a house here in Portland, TX, so you folks please keep your fingers crossed for us. This house has lots of cigar smoking amenities so I'd love to live there.

Basements in South Texas? That would be an aquarium! No, it has a little sunroom that can be closed off from the rest of the house, so I'll have a place better than the garage to smoke in inclement weather. Also a nice patio that could be covered for smoking and grilling. Plenty of room for my humidors!

Spiny, about 1 block. Rich folks houses cover the waterfront, so I'll have to wlk a bit to enjoy the view, but I don't mind.

I have a covered porch for my smoking, it's a grand thing!!!

Navy Federal approved our loan application. One step closer to signing our souls away. We're still in the option period, so we'll see what happens. I'll have to have a virtual house warming once we get moved in. You can all blow some smoke my way. Of course, if any of you are ever in South Texas, consider yourself invited to stop in for a smoke.
