Ok n00bs, taints, and nooblets, posting this up to see if i have any interest.
n00b Lottery.
1. Must be an active member of the forum.
2. Must have completed your n00b/vet trade or at least participated in another noob game. n00b box pass, NoNV, n00b PIB
3. Must only be in the continental U.S. APOs are allowed.
4. Must post in each months thread whether or not your "in" the lottery.
5. 5 cigar minimum payment each month.

How it works
1. Each player will be assigned by me 3 numbers between 2-34. With the numbers 1 being for OpFTH and 35 unused.
2. Total of 11 players, anymore will be placed on a waiting list.
3. The winner each month will be dropped to the end of the waiting list and a new member will be added.
4. The drawing will be the last Saturday of each month. The winning number will be the powerball number from the powerball drawing.
5. The prize is a 5er (no dog rockets) from each of the losing players.


Non payment or failure to pay by the next drawing will get you removed from the game, get you flamed on the board, and beaten senseless by Rams Bat.

It is the winners responsibility to message his/her addy to the losers. It is also the winners responsibility to post nonpayment for all to see.

If the powerball number isr 35, then the very next powerball drawing will determine the winner. And the prize is double (10er).

The first drawing will be Saturday February 23rd.

Seems like a lot of fun, I am in.

I have one suggestion, how about if 1 or 35 come out then nobody wins and there is a carry over to the next month, just like the real powerball when nobody wins?

I read the instructions. An APO addy IS technically CONUS, at least for mailing purposes. The army takes care of it after that. Costs no more (actually less) to ship to us b/c of that. Just ship it to the addy, which is a NY addy, and it magically arrives in afghan.

If that still is unacceptable, then i'll play this one toward its completion. :-(

Ron i love the idea of doubleing till the next month but i was thinking more winners. Let me think about it.

Besides. U fuggers cant count. Probably get 100 cigars a month anyway.

Ok APOs are allowed.

If 1 or 35 is drawn then the drawing is pushed to wednesday AND the cigars double.

If we reach 22 participants then i will run 2 lists. Hence 2 winners a month.

Another idea. If powerball is number 1, then all participants bomb OpFTH.

If its number 35 then its pushed to wednesday and prize doubles.

From the powerball wedsite.

Since there are now only 35 red balls in the drum, it is easier to match the red ball - and you always win a prize if you match the red ball number (either alone or with one or more white ball numbers). The overall odds of winning any prize in the game also get easier. And the lowest cash prize is now $4 (up 33% and the price of two tickets; we hope you decide to do that).

Nope waiting list does not pay. Only payments are participants. So each winner gets 10 packages each month.

The winner drops to the bottom of the waiting list and the first person on the waiting list plays.

Anyone can join and leave each month. Thats why each month everyone has to say "in". The list doesnt change, just need confirmation each person wants in.

So we pay the 5 for the one that was 35 powerball plus and extra 5 the very next powerball (if one of our #'s hits)

Every month its a 5er. If 35 hits then the very next drawing is the winner and the payout is 10 instead of 5.
The next drawing will be the wednesday after the last saturday.

I want a winner every month so those on the waiting list can play. Someone else suggested the double prize. I compromised and did both.
