That's alright though Jespair said he would switch for the Phillies. Go ahead and swap those out for us.

If you get them, I will gladly switch teams with you, or anybody else who gets them.
NOT that I think they will win, Shame on you . . . it's just that I will be able to watch more games that matter to me in the pool. ThumpUp

You got them lousy Phillies! I got the Angels.

Now Drafter how about a trade? My Angels for your Nationals?

Padres for me. In the past, this woulda been a bummer, but now I'm kinda liking the Matt Kemp trade. Upton helps too...

Oh boy, I live in Dallas and just found out Houston has a baseball team.

Oh well, it's baseball. Ya never know.
Unless you get the Phillies or Cubs, then you kinda know.

Padres play 2 and 2 against the As, June 15 and 16 in San Diego, 17/18 in the Bay Area. Neither team will likely put up 13 at Petco Park....

I've always been a big fan of Billy Beane and the As. I got to watch him help the Jackson Mets (AA farmclub) win the Texas League Championship my senior year in high school. Hopefully they got a team that will score some runs and I complete the board at least this year!

Cool. I can handle having the Orioles. Best team I think I've had since this has been going on.

Ummm....this isn't a best record pool so what's the difference? They can lose every game as long as they hit your numbers. Nobody says you have to root for the team to win.

I didn't say I was rooting for them to win. I said "supporting them" on the context of them completing the contest so that I can win! It's like making a deal with devil for a Rangers fan...BigGrin

I guess I didn't realize the Rangers and Red Sox had such a rivalry. I must have missed that along the way.

I didn't know that ANYONE outside of Bosux and Yankme fans had any feelings at all towards the Beantwoners!

We have a deep, deep loathing for them. We would rather lick dirt off a NY Yankers cleat than share a cold beer with a BoSux fan!

Ok, maybe that's a little too far. If they bough the beer I'd drink it. But then I would need the Yankee dirt to get the taste out of my mouth.

I had these bastids last year and they had 13 going into the ninth in the Opener last year and then scored a 14th run in the 9th inning.

When the season was over, I don't think they ever hit 12 or 13!

Good start for the Cubs in this pool....zeros are sometimes tough to get.

On a side note, very bummed to see the massive construction at Wrigley. Me and the fellas are taking a trip there in June and none of us have ever been to the stadium. Too bad its going to be under construction with no bleacher seats and the whole thing.

Las Vegas has the Phillies over/under for wins at 65, ( I doubt they will win 50. ), but we all know that this pool has nothing to do with wins and losses. It's all about the runs.
With that in mind, and if yesterday was any indication of the team's talents, I wonder if they will ever even score in double digits.
Thanks again for the trade, Bart. I am not sorry we did it. (YET)

As got their "1" yesterday. Actually kind of excited and not being sarcastic. First year with an AL team so I'm kind of worried about 0, 1, 2 type scores over in the "10th Hitter Softball League".

Padres look vastly different this year and are definitely contenders. Got a bunch of gap hitters that fit Petco, so hopefully they can score some runs (just not against the Dodgers).

Houston got 13 yesterday......................strikeouts.
Another 16 today.
If this was a strikeout pool I could use my "who's your daddy" line.
I'm doomed.

Okay, just to spice things up a little . . .

I will send a fiver to the first person who's team gets their "13".
In case more than one team scores 13 runs on the same day / night, I will use the innings as a tiebreaker.

Go Phillies !
